Light Park in Dolní Vítkovice
Hundreds of thousands of LED lights, large light sculptures, kilometres of light chains and decorations. Don't miss this unique experience for the whole family, from children to grandparents. Everyone will have fun in our light park. The unique exhibition created by Czech designers and craftsmen under the banner of the Czech family company DECOLED will draw you into a fairy-tale world of hundreds of thousands of lights.
The light park will be open from Saturday, 24 October to 31 December 2026, except on Christmas Eve. According to the organiser, the lights will bring the industrial backdrop of the area to life – the blast furnace, mining tunnels, and the stories of Ostrava's miners. The story begins underground, where the light rises through the mining tunnels to the glow of the blast furnaces. The light sculptures tell stories of miners, coal, and iron, on which Ostrava was built. You will walk through the park.
The park is run by DECOLED, which operates 13 light parks in five European countries under the brand Story of Lights and welds and installs its own sculptures.

The last entry is at 20:30. You can reach Dolní Vítkovice by trams No. 1, 2, 6, and 10 with stops at Dolní Vítkovice or Důl Hlubina, or by bus No. 88.
