The World of Adults in a Child's Scale
The Children's World is located on the ground floor of the Great World of Technology building. It is intended for children aged 2 to 6 years accompanied by an adult. Adults help children complete tasks and play together with them. Over more than 950 m2, a world of adults has been constructed, translated into a child's scale. The Children's World is guided by characters representing various professions.
In the renewed exhibition, opened on January 6, 2022, the highest safety and comfort for visitors is again ensured, and there are toilets for children located directly in the exhibition's facilities.
Entry to the Children's World is limited to 110 minutes, and the number of people in the space is regulated. You can reserve tickets in advance (recommended), but you can also come without a reservation.

Part of the Great World of Technology
The Children's World is one of four permanent interactive exhibitions of the Great World of Technology alongside the World of Science and Discoveries, the World of Civilization, and the World of Nature. The science centre opened in September 2014 in the building designed by architect Josef Pleskot with a mirrored facade, reflecting the blast furnaces and gas holder of Dolní Vítkovice. You can thus combine your visit to the Children's World with a tour of other exhibitions for older siblings.
