Easter Programme

Dear visitors, we have prepared a packed accompanying programme for you over Easter. In the World of Technology, from 3rd to 5th April, you can look forward to Dinosaur Easter, on 3rd April in Galerie Gong there will be Easter Crafting, and on the same day, children can look forward to Easter at Landek, where young visitors will enjoy a fun journey full of stations, tasks, and puzzles.

Easter Monday fell on 6th April in 2026, so the events on 3rd April took place on Good Friday.

Where to Find What

Bolt Café is a café in the glass cylinder of Bolt Tower at the top of Blast Furnace No. 1. Guided tours of the national cultural monument will take you through the former industrial complex of Dolní Vítkovice, where iron was produced until 1998. Galerie Gong is located on the ground floor of the multifunctional hall Gong, a converted gas holder. The Landek Park Mining Museum is situated in Ostrava-Petřkovice in the area of the former Anselm Mine. With an area of around 10 hectares, it is the largest museum complex in the Czech Republic.

The Great World of Technology offers four permanent interactive exhibitions. The Children's World is a separate exhibition for children aged 2 to 6 years, and the Little World of Technology U6 can be found in the historic building of the VI. energy central opposite.
