Night of Science 2026 in the World of Technology
A cup, a string, two children. One of the most ingenious communication devices ever created. And Professor Zmizík was supposed to give a lecture on communication. Instead, he got lost somewhere in the World of Science and Discoveries.
All that remains is private correspondence full of ciphers. Can you decipher it to find out where he is?

The programme is intended for children and adults, and no prior registration is required (except for the Escape Room and Chemistry).

National Night of Science
The Night of Science is a nationwide popularisation event involving universities, research institutes, and scientific centres. This year it takes place under the common theme of communication. The Ostrava part is prepared by the World of Technology, and the programme takes place in the Great World of Technology. According to the organisers, the exhibitions will not be accessible during this event. The Great World of Technology opened in September 2014, and its four permanent exhibitions – Children's World, World of Science and Discoveries, World of Civilisation, and World of Nature – cover 14,000 m².
