Children's World

The Children's World is located on the ground floor of the Great World of Technology building. It is intended for children aged 2 to 6 years accompanied by an adult. Covering an area of over 950 m², it offers 17 thematic areas where children can try out various professions – from a construction site and car service to a doctor's office and music studio, as well as a farm or mine. The number of people in the exhibition is regulated, so advance reservation is recommended.

Small World of Technology U6

The Small World of Technology U6 is located in the former energy central No. VI in Dolní Vítkovice and was opened to the public in November 2012. Its exhibition guides visitors through the history of technology from the steam engine to the present day, and the scenography uses titles from Jules Verne's novels. The hall retains two original blowers from 1938 and 1948, which supplied compressed air to the first Vítkovice blast furnace.

The Great World of Technology, opened in 2014, has four permanent exhibitions covering an area of 14,000 m²: The World of Science and Discoveries, The World of Civilization, The World of Nature, and the Children's World. The closure only affected the first three of them.
