Bus Parking - for Schools

Information for school groups arriving by bus to Dolní Vítkovice. Parking is free in the central strips in front of the Great World of Technology or in the gravel parking lot behind it. You will find the address for navigation and a link to the map here.

You can park in the central strips directly in front of the Great World of Technology building. There is also a gravel parking lot behind the World of Technology.

Upon Arrival

The Great World of Technology offers four permanent interactive exhibitions – Children's World, World of Science and Discoveries, World of Civilization, and World of Nature – covering an area of 14,000 m². Educational programs are prepared for schools in modern classrooms, laboratories, and workshops. Reserve programs at vyuka@dolnivitkovice.cz, and arrange group entry to the Great World of Technology exhibition at recepce.stc@dolnivitkovice.cz. You can find the program prices on the Price List – for Schools page. The city of Ostrava will cover selected programs from a grant starting from 1 September 2026, but the monthly capacity is limited.

A tour of the entire Great World of Technology exhibition lasts on average four to five hours, so plan your visit with sufficient time reserve. The building also includes a cinema with a screen measuring 18 × 10 meters and a capacity of 194 seats.

We accept group reservations for the exhibitions at least five working days in advance. Reserve your visit to the Little World of Technology U6 and the guided tours of the area via infocentrum@dolnivitkovice.cz or by phone at +420 724 955 121.
