DOV Education is the online school of the World of Technology, created at a time when schools could not visit the area. Here you will find educational and methodological videos from the OKAP projects, home experiments, Montessori-inspired activities, online Science Theatre, and a Living Library of study options.

As school groups and visitors cannot come to us right now, we decided to go to them. In addition to project videos, a whole range of other ideas and inspirations is prepared! Check out our home experiments, educational lessons, and Science Theatre experiments below!
Project OKAP II. (completed)
As part of the OKAP project ("Professional, Career and Polytechnical Education in MSK II, reg. no. CZ.02.3.68/0.0/0.0/19_078/0019613), we offer especially teachers from the Moravian-Silesian Region inspirational and methodological videos for individual educational modules as well as processed guided tours of parts of the exhibitions of the Little World of Technology U6 and the Big World of Technology. You can find all the videos on our YouTube channel, where they are gradually added and thematically arranged.
To meet the project indicators, we kindly and urgently ask you to fill out the electronic questionnaire.

Living Library of Study Options
In collaboration with the Moravian-Silesian Region and the Union of Industry and Transport, we are pleased to present a completely new (online) format of the popular event Living Library of Study Options. This popular event was held in January without students, but we documented and filmed everything with representatives of secondary schools and employers in their vicinity. The result is an attractive video presentation that answers the questions that interest students the most.
LEGO Boost
At the World of Technology, we tested a new product from LEGO Education! The LEGO BOOST kit is an attractive and timeless novelty from LEGO that can also serve as an educational tool for educational institutions.
LEGO BOOST can be used not only in computer science classes, where students get acquainted with the basics of programming, but also in other subjects (e.g., music education, English language, mathematics).
From the building blocks, you can assemble 5 different robots: – Vernie the robot – Frankie the cat – guitar 4000, – automatic production line – M.T.R. 4 vehicle
Robots can use motors, distance sensors, color sensors, and tilt sensors. The kit is designed for children aged 7 to 12, but it will also entertain parents.
Assembly takes place using an app on a phone or tablet, which you can download for free from the App Store or Google Play.

Experiments and Activities at Home
Smart fun at home! To make quarantine more enjoyable for children, we have prepared videos with instructions for fun and simple experiments that they can do from the comfort of their home.
We do not forget the youngest! Preschool children have a section dedicated to Montessori-inspired activities! We will show you how to create Montessori tools for your little ones at home! These activities not only entertain children but also provide them with new knowledge and develop their skills!

Science Theatre Online
Attractive demonstration experiments presented by our instructors directly from the Science Theatre. They are not intended for home testing; in this case, they are showcases of interesting and attractive phenomena. They highlight the properties of substances through experiments using chemicals that are not commonly available. Our goal is to engage them, provoke questions, and lead students to curiosity.

Educational Lessons with Our Instructors
The lessons are based on our interactive educational programs that children usually experience with us. We now bring them to you in an online format with all the necessary methodological materials and explanations. The videos are usable for the relevant age category of students or as inspiration for teachers or parents and students at home.

Do you want to make an airplane, a formula, or a robot with your children? We offer you semi-finished products for individual items that you can make with your children at home. This way, you will playfully teach them basic skills when working with a saw, drill, and other workshop tools.
You can purchase them at our e-shop!
All products are part of the Little Craftsman project, which is a course of five lessons during which children will make their own wooden products under the guidance of experienced instructors from the World of Technology. After each lesson, they will receive a handmade toy and at the end of the course, a Little Craftsman Diploma from the World of Technology.
Are you interested in this project and would you like to implement it in your kindergarten?
Lessons take place in suitable spaces of kindergartens, where specially made children's workshop tables with vises are delivered. For each of the 5 lessons (usually on a set day of the week – for 5 weeks), instructors from the World of Technology come directly to the kindergarten.
