Creative Workshops: Slime Laboratory 🧪
Halloween is approaching and it will be quite slimy at the Great World of Technology. On Saturday, 24th October 2026 at 14:00, another edition of the popular Creative Workshops opens, this time as a real slime laboratory.
You will work in a team of 1 adult + 1 child, making it an ideal recipe for a pleasant family afternoon. Speaking of recipes, under the guidance of our instructors, you will mix the best types of slime. And the best part is that you will take your homemade slime home.
The event is intended for parents with children aged 5 and over. No experience is necessary, just a desire to create.

Great World of Technology
The workshop takes place at the Great World of Technology in Dolní Vítkovice, an interactive centre of science and technology that opened in 2014. Covering an area of 14,000 m², it offers four permanent exhibitions: World of Science and Discoveries, World of Civilization, World of Nature with an outdoor geological-botanical garden, and Children's World for children aged 2 to 6.
The centre is located in the Dolní Vítkovice area, a former industrial site where iron was produced until 1998 and which is now a national cultural monument. In addition to the Great World of Technology, you will also find the Small World of Technology U6 in the former power plant, Blast Furnace No. 1 with the viewing Bolt Tower, or the multifunctional hall Gong.
