DEPECHE NOTE – SYMPHONIC TRIBUTE: The legendary hits of Depeche Mode in a symphonic guise are coming to the Czech Republic! After a series of successful and sold-out concerts in Slovakia (including the Peugeot Arena in Bratislava and magical performances at the Šimák Castle in Pezinok), the exceptional project DEPECHE NOTE – SYMPHONIC TRIBUTE is also arriving in the Czech Republic, where it will resonate in the halls of Ostrava, Brno, and Prague. Prepare for an unforgettable evening where classical music meets electronics, and where the symphonic orchestra will lend a new dimension to the greatest hits of the legendary band Depeche Mode. Iconic melodies such as Enjoy The Silence and Personal Jesus will be performed in special arrangements, complemented by gems from album classics, such as the romantic One Caress. This project has gained fans both at home and abroad and is becoming a cultural event with international significance. "In the Czech Republic, music that touches the soul will be heard. For us symphonic musicians, this is a special concert. We experienced continuous standing ovations and shock when the audience sang along to the instrumentals!" says conductor Adrián Kokoš, under whose baton the Great Symphony Orchestra will perform. The two-hour symphonic tribute to the cult band will also feature a vocal section at the finale. The piece Condemnation – by the way, Dave Gahan's favorite song – will be sung by Katarína Knechtová. The authors of the symphonic arrangements of Depeche Mode's songs are Adrián Harvan and Adam Ilyas Kuruc. Kuruc has collaborated with some of the world's most prominent artistic ensembles, such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and BBC Concert Orchestra. His arrangements transform electronic anthems into orchestral statements that resonate across generations. "Depeche Mode has layers – darkness, tenderness, rhythm, and silence. In the arrangements, we try to play these layers so that the orchestra does not overshadow them but reveals them," adds Kuruc. Don't miss the unique opportunity to experience the magical alchemy between rock and classical music!
