The move is taking place gradually, with the carpentry workshop being the first to relocate. According to the operator, workshops will continue as usual. A new phase of the workshop is being established on Hlubinská Street. The last ceramic firing before the move took place on September 11, 2026, and uncollected products will be disposed of by the operator. The workshop can still be found at Vítkovická 3366 in Ostrava. Keep an eye on the operator's website for current dates and details regarding the move.

What is Fajna Dílna

Fajna Dílna is an open workshop for the public, a so-called makerspace. It offers members space, professional technical equipment, and expert support to help develop their ideas. It is operated by the Crafts Incubator association, which was founded by the statutory city of Ostrava.

The following workshops are available:

• textiles, leather, and paper,
• 3D printing and CNC laser routing,
• ceramics,
• metal workshop,
• carpentry workshop,
• glass workshop.

How to use the workshop

Users with a signed user agreement or participants of workshops who register in the booking system can access the workshops. For safety reasons, reservations are only valid when at least two people are present in the same workshop. In addition to individual work, the workshop organizes workshops for the public and schools.
