The page for educators presents the educational programmes of the World of Technology for children and students of all ages. It explains how schools established by the city of Ostrava can visit selected programmes for free and how visits are supported by Havířov, Frýdek-Místek, and Bohumín.

Welcome to the educational activities of the World of Technology.
We bring you a diverse range of educational programmes that you can use to complement your teaching.
Choose from a wide selection for different age groups of children and students, including topics you wish to focus on with us.
You can implement the programme as part of your own projects or take advantage of opportunities offered by some cities or regional projects. Check out which ones they are:
City grants – free entry to selected programmes
The city of OSTRAVA supports the visit of student groups to educational programmes for kindergartens and primary schools, as well as for leisure centres and Houses of Children and Youth from the city of Ostrava. If your founder is the city of Ostrava - you have FREE ENTRY to SELECTED educational programmes.
Thanks to the agreement with the city of Ostrava, school groups do not have to pay for these selected educational programmes.
However, it is necessary to reserve the educational programme/s in advance and then participate. If the reservation is not cancelled (excused), the school will be placed on a special list and the city will cover the cancellation fee. You can choose from these educational programmes.
The statutory cities of Havířov, Frýdek – Místek, and the city of Bohumín also allow selected schools to visit educational programmes.
Selected schools are informed by the statutory city (under which they fall) and can visit educational programmes for free. If a school does not fall under the selected ones, it pays for the programme itself.
