The concert series G returns with the project In Honour of David Stypka, which JFO first realised in 2023. In January 2026, it will be five years since Stypka's untimely death, and in his honour, his songs will once again resonate through the Ostrava Gong, performed by the JFO orchestra, the Bandjeez band, as well as his friends and musical colleagues Mirai Navrátil, Kateřina Marie Tichá, and Ewa Farna. "David's music captivated me from our first meeting. I love returning to it not only as a listener but also as a performer. His songs have incredible strength and depth, along with a characteristic melodiousness. I believe David was able to touch people deeply with his work; when we interpret his songs, I feel a deeper connection with the audience and that people loved him – his lyrics, voice, and genuine personality. I look forward to celebrating what David brought into our lives with this joint concert," says singer Ewa Farna.
