John Williams is one of the greatest film music composers of all time. Throughout his career, he has created iconic soundtracks that have defined modern film music. His work is inextricably linked to Hollywood blockbusters, particularly due to his long-term collaboration with directors Steven Spielberg (Jaws, E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List) and George Lucas (Star Wars, Indiana Jones). "Williams has composed music for films and television for over 65 years, and some of it has become true modern classics. The richness of orchestral sound, unparalleled mastery of compositional technique, and endless melodic inventions make many of his scores an absolute delight for listeners and orchestras alike – they simply sound fantastic! Whether you are searching for the lost ark, fleeing from a hungry velociraptor, or helping a little alien phone home, one thing is always certain: John Williams' music is the best special effect!" explains the chief conductor of JFO, Daniel Raiskin.
