The performance Carpe(t) Diem Reloaded, this time set in the unique environment of FUTUREUM, transforms the original concept into a performative walk.
We invite you on a journey into the depths, which will take place on 20 February 2026 (16:30 and 19:00) in the former industrial complex, where the original production sensitively intertwines with the atmosphere, space, and echoes of the site's history.
Carpe(t) Diem, or how to enjoy life, even when several carpets compete for your attention at once. The dance-movement performance walk featuring aerial acrobatics by Jana Ryšlavá, Matěj Petrák, Alžběta Tichá, and Viktorie Szaloczi. Enjoying every moment is not as easy as inspirational books often promise. Joyful moments can quickly turn into obstacles that make our path difficult. However, it is beautiful when we manage these challenges with ease and a smile, and even accept a fall with perspective. And perhaps it will be the carpet that offers us a sense of safety and comfort, helping us overcome obstacles with a smile on our face.
The performative walk takes place in the spaces of the former industrial building FUTUREUM, where you enter at your own risk and must respect the rules of the space. Unfortunately, the route of the walk is not suitable for individuals with limited mobility and children under 10 years old. For safety reasons, children aged 10 to 15 will only be allowed entry when accompanied by an adult. We recommend sturdy and closed footwear for comfortable movement throughout the event.
