80 years of triumph – the anniversary tour of the legendary National Ballet of Georgia Sukhishvili!
The Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili is embarking on a grand anniversary world tour following the celebrations of its 80th anniversary. Audiences in the USA, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Baltics, and other countries can expect a unique festive program – the best numbers from the entire rich history of the company, embodying perfection and maximum mastery that has become Georgia's hallmark on the world stage.
Over eight decades, Sukhishvili has captured the hearts of millions of viewers performing on the most prestigious stages in the world – from the Metropolitan Opera in New York to La Scala in Milan.
The world has referred to them by various names: "the eighth wonder of the world" (The New York Times), "hurricane on stage" (Daily Telegraph), "energy that can lift an entire hall to its feet" (Le Figaro). However, all these definitions agree on one thing: Sukhishvili is a phenomenon without parallel in the world.
