Christmas 2026 at Gong
A grand Christmas concert that will combine the magic of Christmas, the beauty of classical music, and the energy of a modern show into one unforgettable evening. On one stage, Petr Tomeček and his Pan flute will meet a live orchestra and band, a children's choir, a solo singer, dancers, and ballet.
All this in an impressive scenic presentation, complemented by a magnificent light show and visual effects.
The most beautiful Christmas and festive melodies, famous themes from classical masters, and well-known tunes that we all love will be performed. This time, however, in a completely new form – in modern arrangements, contemporary sound, and grand orchestral performance. An evening where live music, singing, ballet, light, and image come together. An evening full of emotions, beautiful melodies, energy, and moments you will want to cherish long after the last note.
Multifunctional Aula Gong
The Christmas concert will take place on Sunday, 20th December 2026, just before Christmas Eve, in the multifunctional aula Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Tickets are sold by the external ticketing service SMSticket. Gong was created by converting a gas holder from 1922–1924, which stored 50,000 m³ of blast furnace gas until 1998. According to the design by architect Josef Pleskot, it became a multifunctional aula, opened on 1st May 2012. The large hall on the third and fourth floors offers 1509 seats, and besides concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and social events are held at Gong. On the ground floor, you will find the Dolní Vítkovice Information Centre and the Gong Gallery.
