Piano Battle in Ostrava

Pianists and composers Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek presented their programme "Piano Battle" on 11 February 2026 at the multifunctional hall Gong. The evening combined virtuosic playing with musical humour and questions about classical and film music.

We invite you to a unique concert featuring two exceptional pianists and composers – Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek! These lifelong friends will combine their musical mastery on the stage of the Multifunctional Hall Gong in Ostrava! Come and enjoy an evening full of virtuosic piano playing and unforgettable melodies!

How would "Fate" sound if Beethoven were an optimist? Why do we cry during a banal film dialogue? What is "inappropriate" music? Is it true that you can't laugh properly at classical music? Can there be a winner in the "Piano Battle"?

This duo, Brousek – Brzobohatý, will stylishly answer these questions with an unforgettable evening full of musical jokes featuring two pianos.
