Piano Battle with Orchestra
The concert phenomenon Piano Battle comes in a unique form enriched by a symphony orchestra!
Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek – two exceptional pianists, composers, and lifelong friends – will not only perform at two pianos this time. Their original musical dialogue will be newly complemented by a symphony orchestra under the baton of conductor Jan Kučera.
Even with the addition of a large musical ensemble, the concert will retain its characteristic playfulness, improvisation, and immediate interaction with the audience. On the contrary – it will create an unforgettable musical experience full of virtuosic performances, quirky humour, entertaining education, and perspective.
What would "Fate" sound like if Beethoven were an optimist? Are notes just crutches for the untalented? Answers to these and other questions will be revealed during this exceptional evening that combines top-notch musicianship, a unique atmosphere, and fun for every music lover.

When and Where
The concert will take place on Sunday, 21 February 2027 at 19:00 in the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Tickets are sold by an external presale.
Gong was created by converting a gas holder from 1922–1924, which stored 50,000 m³ of purified blast furnace gas until 1998. The reconstruction was designed by architect Josef Pleskot, and the hall was opened on 1 May 2012. The main hall has 1,509 seats and, in addition to concerts and performances, Gong hosts conferences, congresses, and exhibitions. In 2013, the building received the Building of the Year award at the EXPO REAL fair in Munich. On the ground floor, you will find the Dolní Vítkovice Information Centre and the Gong Gallery.
