Rhythm of the Dance brings a completely new original programme to the Czech Republic in 2026, combining step dancers, live music, rich staging, and a backdrop with large-scale projections. Audiences can look forward to an evening full of energy, where lively scenes alternate with moments that draw from the deep roots of Irish music. The stage will feature not only couples whose synergy takes your breath away but also solo performances by spirited dancers who tell stories as old as Ireland itself through their dance steps. Words from the choreographer: "It's not just about preserving Irish culture – we are developing it and bringing it to the stage in a way that resonates with people across continents," says choreographer James Greenan. His words ring true, as the show Rhythm of the Dance enjoys success worldwide. Throughout the performance, the rhythm of the music and the energy of the dance intertwine. Every step of the dancers is supported by live music, from the traditional bodhrán drum to the delicate tones of the harp, flutes, and violins. There will also be singing in Irish Gaelic, transporting the audience to ancient times and reminding them of the richness of Celtic heritage. Dancers and musicians together create a connection between the past and the present – from traditional folk dances to modern choreographic elements.
