RockOpera Prague continues its spooky series with an adaptation of one of the most classic horror works, the novel Frankenstein by English writer Mary Shelley.

As evident from the musical samples shared by the theatre on its YouTube channel, this time it will mainly focus on the synthesis of metal and electronics from a musical perspective.

The story tells of the mad experiment of Doctor Victor Frankenstein, who brings to life a grotesque monster with human emotions. This 19th-century work addresses the question of creation and has been somewhat inspired by ancient mythology. The unsettling tale remains popular to this day, partly due to its many film adaptations. The most famous portrayal of Frankenstein's monster is by British actor Boris Karloff, who first appeared in this role on screen in 1931.
