Dear survivors, or a black comedy about dying our family grievances among sandwiches and a little coffin. The performance is an existential grotesque about family, death, and the awkwardness of funerals. The play unfolds a meeting of survivors at the last farewell to Mrs. Míla or perhaps to death itself? Initially a civil ceremony quickly transforms into an absurd carnival of family grievances, long-unspoken resentments, and rituals, where there is no shortage of tea without sugar, lemon, or eco-friendly burials. The audience becomes part of the mourning gathering, observing a family that cannot hide its wounds, and they themselves are drawn into a game on the edge of life and death, awkwardness and emotion. The result is a theatrical image in which civil reality, dreams, and memories intertwine, and where the grotesque becomes a means of uncovering the most intimate questions about family, guilt, and reconciliation. After the premiere, there will be a communal mourning feast or kar.
