VESNA – Morava tour
The new single Vínečko is accompanied by a music video filmed in Pálava, which connects Moravian folklore, romance, and surreal images. Alongside Patricie Kaňok, Jan Polívka, the youngest son of actor Bolek Polívka, appears in it.
Vesna has long drawn from folk traditions in their work, transforming them into a modern musical form. The Morava tour thus represents a natural continuation of their artistic direction and an opportunity to bring the atmosphere of the upcoming concert show closer to fans across the region.
The female band Vesna continues to draw on folk inspiration and collaborations across the contemporary music scene in their current work. After the summer single Já si tě brát nebudu with Ben Cristovao, they presented the song Vínečko. Its folk melody was brought by frontwoman Patricie Kaňok, who plays the mandolin in addition to singing on the recording. The production of the track was handled by Michal Jiráň from Production Lovers, and the violin part was recorded by Bára Juránková.
The music video for Vínečko was created under the guidance of photographer and director Wlasta Laura in the Pálava region, including in the Cihelna Mikulov. In the visuals inspired by Moravian folklore, romance intertwines with surreal motifs and a female perspective on the story.
The current concert show is also shaped by Zuzana Akopjan Veselá, who created the concept for Vesna's performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.
About the band and the concert venue
The band Vesna was founded in 2016 by Patricie Kaňok Fuxová. At Eurovision 2023, she performed the song My Sister’s Crown and finished in 10th place in the final. The concert will take place on Monday, 12 April 2027, in the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice, a former gas holder that has been serving concerts, conferences, and exhibitions since its renovation according to the design of Josef Pleskot in 2012.
