Bolt Tower for Festival Visitors

Experience the festival from above, take a look at the area from a bird's eye view! This year, we have prepared something new for festival visitors! Due to the huge interest in visiting Bolt Tower last year, we are opening a larger skip lift this year, which will take visitors up to the blast furnace, where they can visit the observation deck or the café in the clouds.

Beats for Love in Dolní Vítkovice

The electronic music festival Beats for Love took place in Dolní Vítkovice from Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Over four days, more than 550 domestic and international DJs, producers, and performers performed on 18 themed stages.

Bolt Tower is an extension at the top of Blast Furnace No. 1, designed by architect Josef Pleskot and completed in 2015. The extension itself is 25 meters tall, and the furnace measures 77.7 meters. The skip lift originally served to load the charge into the furnace, and today it transports visitors to a platform at a height of 45 meters. At the top, you will find Bolt Café and a rooftop observation terrace with telescopes, where you can see Vítkovice, Ostrava, and, on clear days, as far as the horizon of the Beskids. From above, you can see the festival stages and the entire area of the former steelworks, where iron was produced until 1998.
