On Wednesday, 26th February, young artists from ZUŠ Polanka nad Odrou visited the exhibition Professor and Student: Max Švabinský and Helena Salichová. They were guided through the exhibition by Helena Schmuckerová and Petr Pavliňák from the Chagall Art Centre. Helena Salichová, born in Kyjovice, lived and created in Polanka from 1926. She painted still lifes, bouquets, portraits, and focused on landscape painting, especially of Polanka and its surroundings, but also depicted industrial Ostrava. The exhibition Professor and Student: Max Švabinský and Helena Salichová is taking place at the Gong Gallery until 27th April 2025 and can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. A special guided tour of the exhibition will take place on 26th March 2025. We will reveal more soon. We invite you already!
