Dear visitors, all attractions at DOV are open during Easter (even on Monday)! Celebrate Earth Day and Easter with us! We have prepared a packed accompanying program for you. At Bolt Café , you can taste delicious Easter desserts, at U6 you can take a train ride or fly in a biplane named Štefan using VR, and you can also join a guided tour of the National Cultural Monument.

EASTER CREATIVITY (18th April, 11:00-17:00) We invite all young and old creators to a spring Easter workshop taking place on Good Friday. Come and enjoy a creative atmosphere with us and make your own spring talisman from natural materials and other spring decorations.
  • The price is 90 CZK (includes materials and entry to the gallery for 1 child and 1 adult)

THE GREAT WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY

ECO WORKSHOPS (17th April 2025; 10:00 – 16:00) We create with respect for nature! Come roll up your sleeves and dive into a world that is kind to nature and traditions. In our workshops, you will make fragrant bath bombs that turn every bath into a bubbly adventure or candles with messages that will delight not only you but also your loved ones.
  • Workshops are available for visitors with a valid ticket to the Great World of Technology
  • The entrance fee is 50 CZK, we will create together until supplies last
EASTER SCIENCE SHOW (18th – 21st April 2025: 11:00, 13:00, 15:00) How to combine science with tradition? Our team has prepared a special science show for you, where you will feel science literally on your own skin, and it will be fun! Discover traditional Easter customs against the backdrop of our modern experiments.
  • Entry to the science show is included in the ticket price for the Great World of Technology and is suitable for children and adults.
EASTER WORKSHOP (19th April 2025; 10:00 – 18:00) Come and get into the Easter spirit and unleash your imagination! In our workshop, both children and adults can try various techniques for decorating Easter eggs. You can choose between a classic egg and a goose egg. So take your kids, grandma, and dad – and let's decorate Easter together!
  • Workshops are available for visitors with a valid ticket to the Great World of Technology
  • The price for an Easter egg is 30 CZK; goose egg 50 CZK. We will decorate eggs on Saturday until supplies last
ROOFTOP GARDEN OF THE WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY This Easter, you have a unique opportunity to visit (and say goodbye to) the garden of the World of Technology, as our outdoor oasis will be closed for a few months due to reconstruction. Did you know that the World of Technology not only hides exhibitions but also an outdoor garden that won the Green Roof of the Year award in 2016? The glass front facade of the World of Technology building is 12.5 m high and 125 meters wide. This entire area consists of 150 mirrored panels that together weigh 115 tons.
  • The garden will also be adorned on Easter Monday by a giant model of planet Earth, where you can take a commemorative photo
  • Entry to the garden is included in the ticket price for the Great World of Technology
VIRTUAL REALITY (17th – 21st April 2025: 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30) Is boring reality not enough for you? Move with us into the virtual world, where even a dull day can be full of fun. With our virtual reality, you can experience what it's like to dive to the ocean floor, climb mountains, or compete with a robot.

  • Virtual reality is not suitable for people suffering from epilepsy and children under 8 years old
3D CINEMA: T-REX (18th and 20th April 2025: 10:30, 12:00, 16:00) Dinosaurs have inspired and fascinated us since time immemorial. And most of all, the king of all lizards – T-Rex. Thanks to the revolution in paleontology, it's time to revisit this iconic dinosaur in cinemas.
  • Entry to the film screening is included in the ticket price for the Great World of Technology
  • This film is suitable for children from 8 years old
  • The film can also be purchased separately for 90 CZK/person or with a purchased ticket to U6 for 50 CZK/person.
2D CINEMA: 3-2-1 Start! (17th, 19th and 21st April 2025; 10:30, 12:00, 16:00) 3-2-1 START! is an adventurous animated film about the courage and ingenuity needed to get to space and back. Little Hamster Elon is a scientist living on a dump, and in the patch by his house, he finds a crater with a broken robot. And thus begins Elon's great adventure.
  • The film can also be purchased separately for 90 CZK/person or with a purchased ticket to the Children's World or U6 for 50 CZK/person.
PLAYING WITH ROBODOG ČUDLÍK (17th – 21st April 2025; ALL DAY) Who watches over the World of Technology? Our new technological friend – robodog Čudlík, who is not only a great guard but also a fun attraction. During Easter, you can meet him anytime throughout the day!
