Easter Crafting at Gallery Gong
Welcome spring with us!
We invite all young and old creators to a spring Easter workshop taking place on Good Friday. Come and enjoy the creative atmosphere with us and make some spring joys.

The workshop is intended for children and adults who want to spend the holiday together and take home a handmade spring decoration. Since the entry fee also includes access to the gallery, you can combine crafting with a tour of the current exhibition.
Gallery Gong
Gallery Gong was created by expanding the artistic scope of the Milan Dobeš Museum and is part of the educational complex of the Lower Vítkovice area. You can find it in the entrance hall of the multifunctional auditorium Gong at Ruská 2993 in Ostrava-Vítkovice. The gallery aims to bring art closer to people who find it difficult to connect with it, and therefore offers accompanying activities to its exhibitions. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
The Gong itself is a converted gas holder from 1922–1924, which stored 50,000 m³ of purified blast furnace gas until 1998. The reconstruction was designed by architect Josef Pleskot, and the multifunctional auditorium was opened in 2012. On the ground floor of the Gong, in addition to the gallery, there is also the Dolní Vítkovice Information Centre, where you can also find out about other tours and exhibitions in the area.
