The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The playful exhibition Imaginarium – Arena of Imagination of the Forman Brothers Theatre and Their Friends was on display at the Great World of Technology from 28 September 2024 to 23 February 2025. It offered an entry into the world behind the theatre curtain with a touch of circus and puppetry, focusing on themes of playfulness and fair play.
For the spring holidays, the World of Technology Ostrava has prepared a supplementary programme and was open on Mondays from 3rd February to 16th March 2025, when it is usually closed. Families with children could thus visit the Great World of Technology and the Small World of Technology U6 throughout the entire holiday period.
The Backstage exhibition at FUTUREUM showcased photographs from behind the scenes of horse racing from February 12 to May 25, 2025. The author is Roman Vondrouš, a photojournalist for ČTK and a recipient of the World Press Photo and Czech Press Photo awards. The exhibition was opened with a vernissage on February 12 at 17:00.

The Celentano Tribute Show took place on 23rd February 2025 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Maurizio, who resembles Adriano Celentano in both appearance and voice, sang the most beautiful songs from his repertoire accompanied by a live eleven-piece orchestra. It was a tribute to the Italian star.
Dan Bárta and other leading musical singers will present on 25 February 2025 in the Gong auditorium, accompanied by a rock band and the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava, a selection from the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Hair, The Phantom of the Opera, and Les Misérables. Conducted by Stanislav Vavřínek.
On Fat Thursday, 27th February 2025, a Doughnut Feast took place on the ground floor of the Gong. Pizza Chleba DOV in Dolní Vítkovice offered doughnuts from 10:00 to 20:00, providing an opportunity to enjoy some traditional comfort before the Lenten season. The organisers invited everyone who wanted to sweeten their day.

The concert of The Cream of Clapton Band, scheduled for 5th March 2025 at the multifunctional hall Gong, has been moved to Rock and Roll Garage in Martinov. The band celebrating the musical legacy of Eric Clapton brings together his family, friends, and collaborators, with guest Nathan East.

A family creative workshop in the Great World of Technology offered the chance to create your own board game on 22 March 2025 from 14:00. Participants could create classics like checkers or Ludo, or an entirely new game, with the organisers guiding them from game mechanics to making dice.

The guided tour of the exhibition Professor and Student. Max Švabinský and Helena Salichová took place on 26 March 2025 at 16:00 in the Gong Gallery. Experts from the Chagall Art Centre presented the work of the graphic artist, illustrator, and ethnographer who dedicated her creations to Silesia and its traditions.

World Oral Health Day took place on Sunday, 30 March 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Gong. With free entry, it offered demonstrations of tooth brushing, practical workshops, games and stories for children, free dental check-ups for kids, and a nutrition consultancy.
The musical show The Phantom of the Opera in the original German version with Deborah Sasson and Uwe Krüger was scheduled for 1 April 2025 at 8 PM in the Multifunctional Hall Gong. According to the designation in the event title, the performance has been cancelled and did not take place.
The Yoga&Dance SPRING Festival Ostrava filled the halls of the industrial Old Baths with yoga classes, lectures, workshops, and concerts by instructors from the Czech Republic and around the world in spring 2025. The festival was intended for everyone interested in yoga, health, movement, and spirituality.
The Fajna Zahrada Ostrava gardening markets took place from 11th to 13th April 2025 at the National Agricultural Museum in Ostrava-Vítkovice. They offered flowers, seedlings, fruit trees, handmade products, natural cosmetics, and regional delicacies. There was a corner for children and a relaxation zone for adults.
