Dear visitors, from 7th November 2022, the Great World of Technology (including Children's World) is closed on Mondays. We look forward to seeing you from Tuesday to Sunday. About the Great World of Technology Behind the characteristic striking mirrored facade, there are four permanent interactive exhibitions: Children's World, World of Science and Discoveries, World of Civilisation, and World of Nature. Additionally, there are several temporary exhibitions. Newly opened in October 2022 is the ZooM exhibition, which aims to develop critical thinking, encourage reflection on possible manipulation, and demonstrate how fake news can arise through simple examples. Another temporary exhibition is the Living Normally exhibition, which offers visitors an unconventional, experiential journey to meet the world of people with disabilities. The youngest will enjoy the ČT Déčko exhibition, where you can try out a television studio and the work of a weather presenter, and you can also participate in the competition with ČT:D. Formula Student Ostrava offers a unique racing simulator where you can try changing tyres against the clock. And you definitely shouldn't miss the Science Theatre and their science show; you can conclude your visit to the exhibitions with a trip to the 3D cinema, where the documentary films Pidiobři and Last Reef are screened.
