Inspired by the series
The game is based on the South Korean series Squid Game directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, which premiered on Netflix on September 17, 2021. Its heroes compete in a secret game, the rounds of which are cruel versions of children's games.
VI. Energy Plant
The Little World of Technology U6 is located in the building of the former VI. Energy Plant from the 1930s. A pair of gas piston blowers from 1938 and 1948 produced compressed air for Blast Furnace No. 1. The exhibition today occupies 900 m² of the former operation. The blowers, weighing approximately 900 tons, now form the backdrop of an interactive exhibition inspired by the works of Jules Verne and, after dark, the atmosphere of this game.
