Ptakustik plays a twisted power-pop-folk, or something like that. Five musicians from Ostrava and one from Wallachia create a fresh combination that will captivate you with the pressure of live performance, blending emotion and melody. The band is currently not performing much. They are focusing on creating new songs, as whispers in the corridors suggest they are working on their second full-length album. And so they got to it. Tomáš Ptáček, a man of great stature and heart, after the breakup of the band PUNKHART (of which he was the voice and melody) in 2013, initially starts his solo acoustic project Ptakustik. Equipped only with a guitar, a looper, and bolstered by beers "for nerves," he messes up his first concert. However, subsequent concerts and his own creations ultimately prove that a punk can indeed become a folk musician. In 2015, Ptakustik wins 2nd place in the Radegast Líheň club band competition and as part of the prize finds himself in the recording studio Soundpoint in Ostrava. Here he meets Ondřej Černý, records a successful single "10,000 excuses" with him, and thanks to excellent collaboration, a whole band eventually forms around the guitar, voice, and looper, which simply looks damn good on bigger stages :-)
