The car manufacturer Hyundai has extended its partnership with Dolní Vítkovice for another five years. The collaboration, which began in 2022, has resulted in the creation of the educational programme Future of Electromobility, focused on developing technical thinking in children. In the coming years, a specially modified Hyundai Kona Electric will be showcased in the exhibition of the Great World of Technology, allowing visitors a detailed look into the inner workings of the electric vehicle. “We greatly appreciate all the support we have from Hyundai. We are building on previous years, and we value that even more. The Dolní oblast Vítkovice association recently received an award from the Minister for Regional Development in the category of Economic Sustainability and Year-Round Accessibility. Thanks to partners like Hyundai, we can operate the national cultural monument even as a non-profit organization. And the partner knows that the collaboration truly makes sense. Moreover, supporting technical thinking in children in a playful way, which we are implementing together with Hyundai in the World of Technology, is an important step for society as a whole. Technical fields still have a promising future; children just shouldn't be unnecessarily afraid of them,” said Renata Červená, Executive Director of Dolní Vítkovice. Hyundai has also supported the youth Academy of Baník, relying on substantial support from HMMC since 2021. “We are very pleased that we have managed to extend such significant partnerships. Supporting the younger generation is one of the key pillars of our car manufacturer's corporate social responsibility strategy. We want to continue standing by the talents from the FCB Academy, who already represent our region and the Czech Republic excellently. At the same time, we greatly value the continuation of cooperation with Dolní Vítkovice. Thanks to their experience and interactive approach, we can introduce young visitors to electromobility in a playful way and broaden their horizons in the field of new technologies,” stated Barbora Hermanová, Head of External Relations Department at HMMC. Support is not only financial but also through the vehicle fleet. Dolní Vítkovice will have access to three electrified Hyundai models during the partnership. Specifically, these will be Tucson models in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions, which will assist in daily operations and activities both within and outside the area. A big thank you from Dolní Vítkovice to Nošovice!!! We are glad to have you.
