Polish visitors can ride for FREE from several stops in Jastrzębie-Zdrój to Dolní Vítkovice (and back home). The free ride on the Science bus is conditional on purchasing a ticket to the Malý svět techniky U6. During the journey, a Czech-Polish speaking steward will guide you along the Coal and Steel Trail. They will also provide you with all the information regarding the tour not only of the Malý svět techniky U6 but also of the entire Dolní Vítkovice area. Buses run on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You can find the stop at Bolt Tower (the white cube). Implemented thanks to the project Post-industrial Heritage of the Borderland. The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg V-A Czech Republic – Poland programme. As part of this international Czech-Polish project, a joint tourist route called the Coal and Steel Trail has been created, featuring destinations linked to industrial history.
