The Landek Park Mining Museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the history of coal mining and experience the authentic atmosphere of the underground through various experiential programs. All tours are led by experienced guides who were miners themselves. Mining with a Rescue Worker The program is designed as a mini-training and training session for visitors in the role of a mining rescuer. Visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in the role of a rescuer by completing work tasks, where they will be introduced to the basics of the mining rescue station's activities and its primary goal of ensuring mining rescue services in an interactive manner. Visitors will learn about the professional experiences and special techniques needed for rescue work, which are also used for other activities in extreme conditions.

Created in 90 Minutes The aim of the experiential tour of the mining exhibition is to provide visitors with an understanding of the development of Ostrava-Karviná mining from its beginnings to the present day and further until the cessation of activities in the region. The program of the tour is therefore composed of the existing tour route supplemented by elements that engage visitors in the process of building the mining works and the actual extraction. The physically and technically demanding work of miners will be presented and commented on not only from the perspective of the development of the environment and conditions of mining in the OKR but primarily focusing on the reasons and motivations for choosing a physically and mentally demanding and often life-threatening profession, such as mining.
