Concerts, theatre, and sports. All this will be offered by the programme titled "Summer Under the Furnace", which is being prepared in Dolní Vítkovice. The summer programme has been prepared in collaboration with the project "Bo kultura jede!!!" and Trojhalí Karolina. The summer season in Dolní Vítkovice has always been characterised by large music festivals and prestigious sporting events. Unfortunately, neither will take place this year, so DOV is coming up with a programme full of concerts, theatrical performances, sporting activities, and summer cinema screenings. Everything will take place in the area under the former blast furnace No. 1 known as Bolt Tower and its surroundings. An interesting addition to the Summer Under the Furnace programme, especially for children, is Víkendov, or the children's zone full of adrenaline attractions. Víkendov will be operated daily near the Velký Svět Techniky in the Jack Daniel's area during the Colours Of Ostrava festival.
