What you will see on the tour
The Women's Floorball World Championships were held in December 2025 in Brno and Ostrava, where the playoffs and medal matches culminated at the Ostravar Arena. Dolní Vítkovice is just a short distance from the centre of Ostrava. Iron was produced in the former steelworks until 1998, it was declared a national cultural monument in 2002, and in 2008 it became part of the European cultural heritage.
The tours will take you to Blast Furnace No. 1, topped by the 77.7-metre high viewing Bolt Tower. You will also visit places that are not accessible without a guide, and see the former gas holder transformed into the multifunctional hall Gong.
