The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.

On Day Without Children, 8th June 2024, the Great World of Technology took care of children aged 6 to 12, while parents celebrated World Parents' Day. Under the supervision of an experienced animator, children enjoyed humanoid robots, virtual reality, cinema, and a science show. They could be dropped off at any time during opening hours.

The Monster Meeting music event returned to Dolní Vítkovice on 15 June 2024. It offered a continuous concert show featuring two headliners with fifteen stops, complemented by special guests. The names of the performers are not mentioned in the current event text.

The creative workshop Daddy Cool for fathers and their children aged 8 and older took place on 16 June 2024 at the World of Technology on the occasion of Father's Day. In the woodworking workshops, they made a kitchen cutting board together and decorated it using the technique of pyrography.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade conference "Circular Economy in Practice" took place on 20th and 21st June 2024 at the multifunctional hall Gong. It focused on supporting the circular economy as a form of sustainable development, a key topic for both industry and the country as a whole.

The debate New World: Birth took place on 23 June 2024 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Professors Miroslav Bárta and Martin Kovář, along with moderator Michal Půr, discussed the transformation of the world order, the transition to a multipolar world, and the era into which society is entering.
Children under 15 who showed their report cards on 28 June 2024 had entry for 1 CZK at the Great World of Technology and U6. The offer was valid throughout opening hours and required the accompaniment of an adult paying person, who could bring a maximum of three children.
Beats for Love is an electronic dance music festival that took place from 3rd to 6th July 2024 in Dolní Vítkovice. The industrial complex, a national cultural monument full of iron scenery, was filled with music and a rich accompanying programme for four days.

SOLDOUT FESTIVAL 2024 was a three-day open-air party that took place from 25th to 27th July 2024. It featured big names in rap and drum & bass from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as other club genres. Performers included Yzomandias, Nik Tendo, Ektor, PTK, Sima, and Adam Mišík, among others.
The Gummy Bear Day took place on Saturday, 27th July 2024 from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Great World of Technology. Visitors celebrated the special day of gummy bears and searched for bears hidden in the exhibition. The event was intended for families and friends who love this popular sweet.
The tenth anniversary of the Ostrava in Flames festival took place on 3rd August 2024. Udo Dirkschneider with U.D.O., Beast in Black, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Blackbriar and other bands from Italy, Iraq, Iceland and the Czech Republic, including Forrest Jump and Adobre, performed.

Ostrava Chachar, a cross country mountain bike race with the longest continuous tradition in the Czech Republic, took place on 23rd and 24th August 2024 in Landek Park. The Friday Party ride was followed by the Children's League Championship and the Silesian XCO Championship on Saturday.

The International Bat Day was celebrated at the Great World of Technology on 28 August 2024 from 10:00 to 18:00. The event was dedicated to these nocturnal flyers who help keep nature in balance, inviting visitors to learn more about them and celebrate their day together.

Fajne Summer at Future took place on 31 August 2024, the last day of the holidays. From 14:00 to 18:00, the band 432 Hz performed, Filip Dadej showcased micro-magic, and children enjoyed creative workshops and a bouncy castle. Adults could explore the digital gallery in the basement or relax at the BeerBox and in the café.
The jubilee 20th edition of the Jan Veselý Memorial took place on 31 August 2024 in Dolní Vítkovice on a 1,000-metre circuit along Vítkovická Street. The race, part of the Czech Cup for men, commemorated cyclist Jan Veselý, the winner of the Peace Race in 1949.

ABBA Symphonic Show 50 took place on 4th September 2024 at 20:00 in the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. The tribute band, accompanied by a live symphonic orchestra, celebrated the 50th anniversary of ABBA's breakthrough with hits like Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, and Fernando.

The amateur dance competition LIKE PRO-AM COMPETITION 2024 took place on Sunday, 8th September 2024 in the foyer of the Multifunctional Hall Gong. The morning was dedicated to standard dances and the afternoon to Latin American dances, with judges Simona Švrčková and Markéta Dostálová, and hosted by Michal Kurtiš.
