The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The exhibition "Private Edens – Allotment Gardeners as a Phenomenon" presented David Macháč's photographic project from March 19 to September 27, 2026, which has documented allotment colonies since 2006. It showcased the relationship between people and gardens and cottages as a cultural and social phenomenon.

Albi Game Day Ostrava 2026 offered a weekend of board games for the whole family from 18th to 20th September 2026 at the Great World of Technology. The programme included a large gaming area with hundreds of games, Albi news with instructors, tournaments for prizes, crafting for children and adults, Magical Reading, and puzzles.
The Gluten-Free Fair and national meeting of coeliacs took place on Saturday, 19 September 2026 from 10:00 to 15:00 at the National Agricultural Museum Ostrava in Dolní Vítkovice. The meeting and fair were organised by the Coeliac Club for Ostrava and the Moravian-Silesian Region.
The Living Library of Professions at the Great World of Technology presented professions from robotics and programming to metallurgy and journalism on Monday, 21 September 2026, from 9:00 to 18:00, directly from the people who do them. VŠB-TUO and secondary schools from Ostrava also added their offerings.
The Night of Science on the theme of Communication took place on Friday, 25 September 2026 from 16:00 to 21:30 at the World of Technology. The free programme for children and adults offered an escape game about Professor Zmizík, chemistry, a science show, encryption with robots, crafting, and games for the little ones.
The creative workshops at the Great World of Technology on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at 14:00 focused on bookbinding. Teams made up of an adult and a child aged 9 and over, guided by instructors, went through the entire process of creating a book, from folding papers to decorating the covers, and took home their own diary.
The original Slovak dance-theatre show LOVE2DANCE was presented on 27 September 2026 in the multifunctional hall Gong. It drew the audience into the world of standard and Latin American dances in a modern, dynamic, and visually impressive performance.

The ninth edition of the Colors of Finance conference took place on 7 October 2026 at the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Financial professionals, business owners, and managers enjoyed panel discussions, inspiring stories, practical workshops, all-day networking, and a closing afterparty.
The opening of the exhibition Light – A Tribute to Milan Dobeš took place on 8 October 2026 at 17:00 in the Gong Gallery. The exhibition commemorated the work of a leading figure in op-art and kinetic art and also showcased the works of ten artists who work with light and optical illusion.
The exhibition Light – A Tribute to Milan Dobeš at Gallery Gong will run until 6 December 2026. In addition to the optical and kinetic works of visionary Milan Dobeš, including the entire series of graphics Central Attraction, it showcases the works of ten contemporary authors on light.

The World of Technology celebrated its 12th anniversary over the weekend of 10th and 11th October 2026. The programme featured a lecture by Dušan Majer on life in the Solar System, board games, an escape room, chemical experiments, the creation of a paper robot, and a chemical fairy tale at the Theatre of Science.
The Talent City 2026 conference took place on 14th and 15th October. For the first time, a stage dedicated to science centres and informal education opened at the Great World of Technology, prepared by the World of Technology in collaboration with the Czech Association of Science Centres. The first day was dedicated to workshops for schools, with free participation.

Lucie Bílá is celebrating her sixtieth birthday with the Ordinary Girl tour, and on Sunday, 18 October 2026 at 19:00, she will perform at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. She will be accompanied by Petr Malásek's band, the White Choir, and the Epoque Quartet. Her well-known hits and songs from her new album will be performed.
The recital The Little Prince will take place on 19 October 2026 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Actor Jan Cina will join forces with singer and the Unique Orchestra string ensemble to combine words with original songs by Kryštof Marek. The performance lasts 90 minutes and is suitable for audiences of all ages.
