The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The Light Park Era of Inventions will illuminate Dolní Vítkovice from 24 October to 31 December 2026. Visitors can expect hundreds of thousands of LED lights, large light sculptures, and kilometres of light chains from DECOLED. The park is designed for the whole family, from children to grandparents.
The football podcast Where the Hare Runs will come live to the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice on Tuesday, 12 January 2027. The team will evaluate the league season, Baník and the national team, and the evening will be full of football, stories, and laughter. Tickets are sold by an external presale.
A symphonic tribute to Michael Jackson will take place on 27 January 2027 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. His hits will be performed by Dasha, Naďa Wepperová, Dušan Kollár, and Dušan Marek with the Moondance Orchestra and the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava conducted by Martin Kumžák.
On Saturday, 20 February 2027, Gong in Dolní Vítkovice will resonate with the songs of the Nedvěd brothers. The concert When the Nedvěds Played Together will feature Stánky, Valčíček, or Růži z papíru, hits from Spirituál kvintet, Brontosaurus, and Příbuzní, as well as new original songs.
The Piano Battle with Orchestra will arrive on 21 February 2027 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek will enhance their musical dialogue at two pianos with a symphony orchestra conducted by Jan Kučera. Expect improvisation, humour, and entertaining education.
Dalibor Janda, the author of hits such as Kde jsi, Žít jako kaskadér, and Oheň, voda, vítr, will perform on 10 March 2027 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. The concert will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the album Hurikán and will feature an impressive light show.
Bára Poláková will bring the project Něhy26 to Gong in Dolní Vítkovice on Thursday, 8 April 2027. The concert and performance will feature songs in original and new arrangements, six vocalists, a four-member band, original light design, and guests.
The female band Vesna will bring their Morava tour to Gong in Dolní Vítkovice on Monday, 12 April 2027. They will present a concert show inspired by Moravian folklore and a new song Vínečko, for which a music video was filmed in Pálava with Jan Polívka.
The British glam rock band Smokie will perform on Friday, 15th October 2027, at the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Hits like Living Next Door to Alice and Oh Carol will be played. The band was formed in 1965 in Bradford and is brought to the Czech Republic by the agency Brnokoncert.
