The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The light park Lights Tell Stories was open in Dolní Vítkovice from 1 December 2023 to 31 January 2024. The exhibition inspired by Jules Verne from the Czech family company DECOLED offered a light airship, planets, animals, and fairy-tale creatures for the whole family.
The exhibition Phenomenon Vítkovice at the Gong Gallery presented from 8 December 2023 to 3 March 2024 the milestones of Vítkovice's development in production, research, social and housing policy, and culture. It showcased works about the ironworks, 150 years of testing facilities and laboratories, as well as a hydrogen room.

The Wedding Festival Ostrava took place on 26th and 27th January 2024 at the Multifunctional Aula Gong. It featured fashion shows of wedding and evening dresses, cake tastings and wedding menus, workshops, a raffle, and meetings with a hundred wedding professionals. The program was hosted by Simona Dočkalová.
The Weekend with LEGO® Bricks at the Great World of Technology celebrated the International LEGO® Brick Day on 27th and 28th January 2024, commemorating the patent application from 1958. The exhibition Czech Repubrick: World of LEGO® Bricks featured building challenges, activities, and competitions for small prizes.

The G2 concert at Gong on 29 February 2024 combined classical music with Celtic and African world music. Featuring works by Ola Gjeilo and Karl Jenkins, the concert included performances by Lenka Dusilová, Gabriela Vermelho, flautist Jan Kvapil, the Permoník choir, and the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava.
The G2 Adiemus concert with Permoník II took place on 1 March 2024 at Gong. The Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, under the direction of conductor Chuhei Iwasaki, the Permoník Concert Choir, Lenka Dusilová, Gabriela Vermelho, and Jan Kvapil connected classical music with Celtic and African world music.

RockOpera Prague will present an adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein on 15 March 2024 at 7 PM in the Multifunctional Hall Gong. The story of Doctor Victor Frankenstein and his monster with human emotions will be expressed through a musical blend of metal and electronics.
RockOpera Prague presented the opera Troy on March 16, 2024, at 19:00 in the multifunctional hall Gong, expanding its ancient series. King Agamemnon was portrayed by Kamil Střihavka, Cassandra by Pavla Forest, and the music blending metal and ethno was composed by Milan Steigerwald.
Water Day at the Great World of Technology on 16 March 2024 highlighted the value of water and the need to protect it. The accompanying programme from 10:00 to 18:00 offered the chance to build your own boat, ice painting, play on a water xylophone, and create a large communal water painting. The event took place in Dolní Vítkovice.
The Amazing Art event took place on Saturday, 16 March 2024, from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Great World of Technology. Visitors could experience what it's like to stand on the theatre stage, play with puppets or shadow performances, and watch a scientific science show full of interesting experiments.

The concert show Heaven on Earth was brought by Adam Plachetka, Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers on 21 March 2024 to the multifunctional hall Gong. Songs by Jaroslav Ježek with lyrics by Voskovec and Werich from the repertoire of the Liberated Theatre were performed, ranging from swing and blues to lyrical songs and parodies.
The opening of the exhibition Polish Abstraction and the World took place on 21 March 2024 at Gallery Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Brain Day at the Great World of Technology celebrated the miracle of the human brain on 23 March 2024. From 10:00 to 18:00, visitors enjoyed a programme featuring interesting facts about the brain, a giant puzzle, brain teasers, and games. They could also try connecting the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
World Oral Health Day took place on Sunday, 24 March 2024, from 11 am at the Gong. It was organised by the Regional Dental Chamber in Ostrava with partners and offered demonstrations of tooth brushing, non-invasive dental caries diagnostics, nutritional counselling, and demonstrations of proper breathing techniques.
During the Easter holidays from 28th to 31st March 2024, at the exhibition CzechRepubrick: The World of LEGO® Bricks in the Great World of Technology, colourful eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny were sought after. Visitors could also assemble a unique egg from bricks themselves.
The Easter workshop at the Gong Gallery took place on 29 March 2024 from 10:00 to 15:00. Children learned about the marbling technique and created spring decorations that they could further embellish and enhance. The admission fee included materials and entry to the gallery for one child and one adult.

From 1 April to 31 October 2024, two top-quality telescopes were available to visitors at Bolt Tower. Those who went for a coffee at Bolt Café could take a close look at the surroundings through the telescopes. The use of the telescopes could be reserved online in advance.

The G3 Klusymfonie concert took place on 3rd April 2024 at Gong. Tomáš Klus with Cílová skupina performed again with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava under the baton of Jan Kučera, featuring orchestral versions of several new pieces, and for the first time, the Concert Choir Permoník joined them.

The Little World of Technology U6 reopened on 6 April 2024 after the winter break. In addition to new exhibits, it offered a supporting programme themed around Barbie, featuring a fashion show of Kens, aerobics, a ballet studio, and dressing paper dolls. Tickets were sold at the Great World of Technology.
The exclusive hall tour for the 20th anniversary of the Na stojáka show visited the multifunctional auditorium Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Eight comedians performed, including Tomáš Matonoha, Ester Kočičková, Lukáš Pavlásek, Richard Nedvěd, and Daniel Čech, with funny stories and great entertainment.
Olda Říha celebrated his 75th birthday with the band Katapult on the Nostalgia tour and 60 years on stage, for which the band released a new album of the same name. The concert took place on 10 April 2024 at 19:00 in the multifunctional hall Gong in the Lower Vítkovice area.
The Japanese bookbinding workshop was led on 21 April 2024 at the Gong Gallery by Mária Kekeláková, a student of the Faculty of Art at the University of Ostrava. Participants aged 12 and over learned the basic binding with four holes and created their own photo album. This was her first workshop for adults.
The seminar "Sustainability of Concrete?" was part of the 15th edition of the educational project Concrete University and took place on 23 April 2024 at Gong. It provided participants with an overview of concrete sustainability in construction, reducing carbon footprints, and specific examples of more sustainable building projects.
The football talk show Tiki-Taka presented itself live on April 26, 2024, at the Multifunctional Hall Gong. The popular duo Petr Švancara and Petr Svěcený welcomed a number of guests from the football world and beyond in front of more than 1500 spectators. The evening started at 19:00 and was intended for football fans.
The Spring Yoga & Dance Festival Ostrava took place over the weekend of 26th to 28th April 2024 in the halls of the Old Baths in Dolní Vítkovice. Participants could attend all three days or individual days separately. Classes, lectures, and workshops were led by instructors from around the world as well as leading Czech instructors.

Fest1val connected architecture, design, film and fashion in Dolní Vítkovice and the wider centre of Ostrava from 30 April to 5 May 2024. The week-long programme featured film premieres and a competition section, design exhibitions, fashion shows, talk shows and parties.
The Open Day of the manufacturing operations of the Cylinders Holding and Vítkovice a.s. group took place on 1 May 2024. At noon, an exhibition of a painting was held on the first floor of the Gong, with introductory words from the author Boris Jirků and Jan Světlík. Entrance was at Hotel VP1.
