The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The exhibition "Private Edens – Allotment Gardeners as a Phenomenon" presented David Macháč's photographic project from March 19 to September 27, 2026, which has documented allotment colonies since 2006. It showcased the relationship between people and gardens and cottages as a cultural and social phenomenon.
The exhibition Hail God, friends! at the Gong Gallery from 25 March to 7 June 2026 brought the history of mining in Northern Moravia closer. It showcased works by artists, photographs, chronicles, uniforms, and memories of mining families, as well as an outdoor replica of the last coal cart from the ČSM Mine in Stonava.

The legendary band KATAPULT visited the multifunctional hall Gong on April 11, 2026, with the anniversary tour KATAPULT TOUR 50 Years, which commemorated half a century on the music scene since 1975. Olda Říha returned to Ostrava with a two-hour concert, where the band started.

The discussion with Tomáš Hykl about the World of Freddie project took place on 16 April 2026 at 5 PM at FUTUREUM in Ostrava-Vítkovice. Visitors learned about the upcoming exhibition on Freddie Mercury and could view its first preview.
The band Olympic visited Ostrava as part of the "Bombarďák" tour on Saturday, April 18, 2026, when they performed at 8 PM in the Multifunctional Hall Gong. The program included hits like Osmý den and Dynamit as well as new songs.

The G3 concert at Gong on April 29, 2026, featured the film music of John Williams, the composer of scores for films such as Jaws, E.T., Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. The Witch Parade 2026 was organised by the municipal district of Ostrava-Vítkovice on 30 April. The procession set off at 16:00 from Mírové náměstí in Vítkovice to Dolní Vítkovice, where a programme with a witchy atmosphere and the burning of witches awaited. Children in costumes received a free sausage.
The Open Day of VÍTKOVICE and CYLINDERS HOLDING took place on 1 May 2026. Visitors got a glimpse into the operations of VÍTKOVICE HAMMERING and the production of pressure vessels, toured the Vítkovice Castle, and enjoyed a programme featuring hydrogen cars, virtual reality, and games for children.
The Pojez fest in Dolní Vítkovice offered on Saturday, 9th May 2026 from 10:00 a gastro village with dozens of stalls and food trucks, a live cooking show with tastings, and concerts by Janek Ledecký and the band Adán Sánchez. A Day with Technotrail was prepared for families with children. Entry was free.
