The Neuropolis exhibition by Krištof Kintera is on display in the hall of Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. Sculptures and reliefs made from fluorescent lights, used batteries, and other discarded components form installations of an urban landscape. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The light park Lights Tell Stories was open in Dolní Vítkovice from 1 December 2023 to 31 January 2024. The exhibition inspired by Jules Verne from the Czech family company DECOLED offered a light airship, planets, animals, and fairy-tale creatures for the whole family.
The exhibition Phenomenon Vítkovice at the Gong Gallery presented from 8 December 2023 to 3 March 2024 the milestones of Vítkovice's development in production, research, social and housing policy, and culture. It showcased works about the ironworks, 150 years of testing facilities and laboratories, as well as a hydrogen room.

RockOpera Prague will present an adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein on 15 March 2024 at 7 PM in the Multifunctional Hall Gong. The story of Doctor Victor Frankenstein and his monster with human emotions will be expressed through a musical blend of metal and electronics.
RockOpera Prague presented the opera Troy on March 16, 2024, at 19:00 in the multifunctional hall Gong, expanding its ancient series. King Agamemnon was portrayed by Kamil Střihavka, Cassandra by Pavla Forest, and the music blending metal and ethno was composed by Milan Steigerwald.
Water Day at the Great World of Technology on 16 March 2024 highlighted the value of water and the need to protect it. The accompanying programme from 10:00 to 18:00 offered the chance to build your own boat, ice painting, play on a water xylophone, and create a large communal water painting. The event took place in Dolní Vítkovice.
The Amazing Art event took place on Saturday, 16 March 2024, from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Great World of Technology. Visitors could experience what it's like to stand on the theatre stage, play with puppets or shadow performances, and watch a scientific science show full of interesting experiments.

The concert show Heaven on Earth was brought by Adam Plachetka, Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers on 21 March 2024 to the multifunctional hall Gong. Songs by Jaroslav Ježek with lyrics by Voskovec and Werich from the repertoire of the Liberated Theatre were performed, ranging from swing and blues to lyrical songs and parodies.

Brain Day at the Great World of Technology celebrated the miracle of the human brain on 23 March 2024. From 10:00 to 18:00, visitors enjoyed a programme featuring interesting facts about the brain, a giant puzzle, brain teasers, and games. They could also try connecting the left and right hemispheres of the brain.
World Oral Health Day took place on Sunday, 24 March 2024, from 11 am at the Gong. It was organised by the Regional Dental Chamber in Ostrava with partners and offered demonstrations of tooth brushing, non-invasive dental caries diagnostics, nutritional counselling, and demonstrations of proper breathing techniques.
During the Easter holidays from 28th to 31st March 2024, at the exhibition CzechRepubrick: The World of LEGO® Bricks in the Great World of Technology, colourful eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny were sought after. Visitors could also assemble a unique egg from bricks themselves.
The Easter workshop at the Gong Gallery took place on 29 March 2024 from 10:00 to 15:00. Children learned about the marbling technique and created spring decorations that they could further embellish and enhance. The admission fee included materials and entry to the gallery for one child and one adult.

The G3 Klusymfonie concert took place on 3rd April 2024 at Gong. Tomáš Klus with Cílová skupina performed again with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava under the baton of Jan Kučera, featuring orchestral versions of several new pieces, and for the first time, the Concert Choir Permoník joined them.

The Japanese bookbinding workshop was led on 21 April 2024 at the Gong Gallery by Mária Kekeláková, a student of the Faculty of Art at the University of Ostrava. The seminar "Sustainability of Concrete?" was part of the 15th edition of the educational project Concrete University and took place on 23 April 2024 at Gong. It provided participants with an overview of concrete sustainability in construction, reducing carbon footprints, and specific examples of more sustainable building projects.
The football talk show Tiki-Taka presented itself live on April 26, 2024, at the Multifunctional Hall Gong. The Gummy Bear Day took place on Saturday, 27th July 2024 from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Great World of Technology. Visitors celebrated the special day of gummy bears and searched for bears hidden in the exhibition. The event was intended for families and friends who love this popular sweet.

PRIME ORCHESTRA brought the ROCK SYMPHO SHOW to Gong in Dolní Vítkovice on 17th November 2024. On stage stood 35 musicians and singers who performed rock hits from Queen, Metallica, Nirvana, and The Beatles in an original rendition, accompanied by a light show and effects.
On the national holiday of 17th November 2024, Gong in Dolní Vítkovice was one of the locations for the #myflag campaign by the Czech Government. Visitors could take a photo with the Czech flag, add the hashtag #myflag, and collect a small gift, a commemorative badge My Flag, at Gong.

Families with children could thus visit the Great World of Technology and the Small World of Technology U6 throughout the entire holiday period.

The spring holidays 2025 kicked off on Saturday, 1st February with the Scooby-Doo event at the Little World of Technology U6. From 10:00 to 18:00, visitors enjoyed games, competitions, puzzles, and a creative workshop for making dog tags. During the holidays of all districts in the region, it was also open on Monday.
The XII. Miner’s Ball took place on Saturday, 8th February 2025 at 19:00 in BrickHouse, the former baths of the Hlubina Mine. In two halls, there was a festive opening with a dance performance by the SLPT Hlubina group, a competition for Štajgr's shorts, a traditional dance number, and a game for prizes.

The Backstage exhibition at FUTUREUM showcased photographs from behind the scenes of horse racing from February 12 to May 25, 2025. The author is Roman Vondrouš, a photojournalist for ČTK and a recipient of the World Press Photo and Czech Press Photo awards. The exhibition was opened with a vernissage on February 12 at 17:00.

Valentine's Day in the clouds was celebrated from 14th to 16th February 2025 at Bolt Café on Bolt Tower, the highest café in Ostrava. Couples could enjoy a Valentine's drink or dessert, and on Friday and Saturday, the café had extended opening hours.
The Representational Ball of Matiční Gymnasium 2025 took place on Saturday, 15 February 2025, at 19:00 in the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Tickets were sold at the gymnasium's secretariat. Further details were available in the link provided in the invitation.

The Celentano Tribute Show took place on 23rd February 2025 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Maurizio, who resembles Adriano Celentano in both appearance and voice, sang the most beautiful songs from his repertoire accompanied by a live eleven-piece orchestra. It was a tribute to the Italian star.
Dan Bárta and other leading musical singers will present on 25 February 2025 in the Gong auditorium, accompanied by a rock band and the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava, a selection from the musicals Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Hair, The Phantom of the Opera, and Les Misérables. Conducted by Stanislav Vavřínek.
On Fat Thursday, 27th February 2025, a Doughnut Feast took place on the ground floor of the Gong. Pizza Chleba DOV in Dolní Vítkovice offered doughnuts from 10:00 to 20:00, providing an opportunity to enjoy some traditional comfort before the Lenten season. The organisers invited everyone who wanted to sweeten their day.

World Oral Health Day took place on Sunday, 30 March 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Gong. With free entry, it offered demonstrations of tooth brushing, practical workshops, games and stories for children, free dental check-ups for kids, and a nutrition consultancy.
The musical show The Phantom of the Opera in the original German version with Deborah Sasson and Uwe Krüger was scheduled for 1 April 2025 at 8 PM in the Multifunctional Hall Gong. According to the designation in the event title, the performance has been cancelled and did not take place.
The Yoga&Dance SPRING Festival Ostrava filled the halls of the industrial Old Baths with yoga classes, lectures, workshops, and concerts by instructors from the Czech Republic and around the world in spring 2025. The festival was intended for everyone interested in yoga, health, movement, and spirituality.
The Fajna Zahrada Ostrava gardening markets took place from 11th to 13th April 2025 at the National Agricultural Museum in Ostrava-Vítkovice. They offered flowers, seedlings, fruit trees, handmade products, natural cosmetics, and regional delicacies. There was a corner for children and a relaxation zone for adults.
On 15 April 2025, a ceremonial screening of Tomáš Galásek's film Rhapsodia Corcontica took place at the cinema of the Great World of Technology, showcasing the climbing and scientific expeditions in the Krkonoš mountains from 1979 and 2024. The audience had the opportunity to meet the creators and participants of both expeditions.
The rock opera RAGNAROCK: Vikings was performed on 16 April 2025 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. Inspired by Norse mythology, it brought to the stage Ragnarok – The Twilight of the Gods, into which a human enters, becoming a significant actor in the fate of the world.
The rock opera The Little Prince, based on the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, was performed on 17 April 2025 at the multifunctional hall Gong. The family show tells the story of a pilot stranded in the desert and the Little Prince, who shares tales of his journey through the universe.
On Good Friday, 18 April 2025, Easter at Landek took place at the Landek Park Mining Museum. Children searched for the lost bunny Ušáček, collected eggs at stations with tasks and riddles, and at the end received a package of treats. The ticket also included a ride on the mining train.

The Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, under the direction of Stanislav Vavřinek, presented the Plus/Minus Year project featuring rock hits from 1991 in arrangements by Jan Lstibůrek on April 23, 2025, at the Gong auditorium. The singers were Hana Holišová and Michal Skořepa, with guitar played by Jiří Kučerovský.
The Lopni Beczku festival of top-fermented beers will offer dozens of beer specials from craft breweries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, along with street food, on April 25 and 26, 2025, at the National Agricultural Museum in Ostrava. Beer will be served in 0.3-litre glasses.

The tribute band Adele Hometown Glory performed on April 29, 2025, at Gong with an evening dedicated to the soul singer Adele. During the approximately one and a half hour concert, her greatest hits were played, including the song Skyfall, accompanied by a live band with modern sound and lighting technology.
The football talk show of former representative Pavel Horváth took place on 30 April 2025 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. The evening was not just about football – the guests included hockey players Martin Procházka and Rostislav Olesz, as well as former football defender Marek Jankulovski.
The Witches' Dance on 30th April 2025 began at 16:00 with a gathering at Mírové náměstí, from where witches and wizards set off together to Dolní Vítkovice. There, a prepared programme awaited them, and the five most beautiful costumes received a sweet reward. The organisers invited everyone with good spirits and a mask.
The opening of the 40 Fotoclub Ostrava exhibition took place on 30 April 2025 at 5 PM at the Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. The exhibition was inaugurated by PhDr. Petr Pavliňák, with musical accompaniment provided by Petr Džetro Ritzka and Michal Žáček. The exhibition lasted until 31 May 2025.
The 40th anniversary photography exhibition of the Photography Club Ostrava at the Gong Gallery commemorated four decades of the amateur photographers' club. The opening took place on 30 April 2025 at 17:00, inaugurated by PhDr. Petr Pavliňák with musical accompaniment, and it lasted until 31 May 2025.
The Vítkovice Group and Vítkovice Cylinders have prepared a family day in Vítkovice for 1st May 2025. The program at Lipový dvůr is complemented by guided tours of the exceptionally opened gardens of Vítkovice Castle and the Vítkovice Cylinders manufacturing plant.
On May Day 2025, lovers could head to Bolt Tower and celebrate love at a height of nearly 80 metres with a view of Ostrava. The Bolt Café offered a romantic atmosphere, coffee or drinks, and as a treat, a snow kiss. Reservations could be made in advance.

The celebration of 10 years since the opening of the Bolt Tower, an extension of Blast Furnace No. 1, took place on 24 May 2025. Throughout the day, the skip lift operated, at noon the birthday cake was cut, guides explained at all stations, and for the first time, the skip engine room was open for viewing.
J&T Bank Ostrava Beach Pro offered world-class beach volleyball and accompanying program in Dolní Vítkovice for the eighth time from 28 May to 1 June 2025. The best teams, including Olympic winners, arrived in Ostrava, and Czech world champions Perušič and Schweiner also showcased their skills.
Children's Day and Day Without Children took place on Saturday, 31 May 2025, at the Great World of Technology and the Small World of Technology U6. Children enjoyed a programme with animators or exhibitions with their parents, U6 transformed into a place full of mysteries and magic, and offered a 50% discount on admission.
The two-day meeting to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the death of writer Jan Balabán took place on 5th and 6th June 2025 in the Small Hall of Gong. It offered lectures, a methodological workshop, discussions with artists, readings on a tram, and the unveiling of the 'Balabán' footbridge for teachers and the public.
The exhibition at the Gong Gallery from 5 June to 19 July 2025 commemorated the writer Jan Balabán and his years at the Vítkovice enterprise. It showcased the original Magnesia Litera Award, diaries, notes, and photographs, as well as large smalt artworks by Daniel Balabán and texts by students.
The exhibition Jan Balabán – Vítkovice at Gallery Gong commemorated the writer and recipient of the Magnesia Litera Award, who worked at the Vítkovice enterprise from 1985 to 1999. The opening took place on June 5, 2025, entry was free, and the exhibition lasted until July 19. It showcased diaries and photographs.

The twelfth edition of the TFA Ostrava Tower competition, known as The Toughest Firefighter Survives, took place on 18 June 2025 in the Lower Vítkovice area. Professional and volunteer firefighters, as well as women in full firefighting gear, tackled the course from the blast furnaces to the top of the Bolt Tower.
To celebrate the start of the holidays, on 27 June 2025, children under 15 had entry to the Great and Small World of Technology U6 for 1 CZK, with a maximum of three per paying adult. The programme offered virtual reality, a 3D cinema, interactive exhibits, and a flight simulator.
The eleventh edition of the electronic festival Beats for Love took place from 2nd to 5th July 2025 in the industrial complex of Dolní Vítkovice. It introduced a new concept, Beats for Love Universe, featuring three thematic zones: Love, Space, and Industrial Sphere, connected by the festival artery Pulse.
In collaboration with Wine4You, the exclusive importer of wines from the Tuscan vineyards of singer Sting, a guided tasting took place on 16th and 17th July 2025 in the underground of the FUTUREUM building during the Colours of Ostrava festival. Four sessions were available, each for a maximum of 25 participants.
The multi-genre festival Colours of Ostrava will take place from 16th to 19th July 2025 in its 22nd edition at the Dolní Vítkovice area, featuring over 350 programme points: concerts, debates at the Meltingpot forum, theatre, workshops, and installations. Performers include Iggy Pop, Justice, and The Chainsmokers, among others.

The exhibition Summer Salon – Something for Everyone showcased a cross-section of art across generations and continents at Gong Gallery from 31 July to 12 October 2025. Alongside Slavíček and Trampota, works by Kintera, Štenclová, Warhol, Dalí, and Kokoschka were on display. The curators were Jan Světlík and Zdeněk Sklenář.
The eleventh edition of the metal festival Ostrava in Flames took place on 2nd August 2025 under the blast furnace in Dolní Vítkovice. Among the performers were U.D.O. with Udo Dirkschneider, Finnish LORDI, Brazilian NERVOSA, FREEDOM CALL, and Ronnie Romero with Gus G.
The Grand Finale of the drifting series Race the Streets took place for the first time in the Lower Vítkovice area on 9 August 2025. The night race, part of the Czech Republic Championship in the PRO category, determined the season champion and was complemented by a light and pyrotechnic show, DJs, and a car exhibition.

The ABBA WORLD Revival meets Classic show brought together on 6th September 2025 in the multifunctional hall Gong the musicians of the revival band with philharmonic instrumentalists. Hits from the ABBA group were performed in a symphonic arrangement, with 100% live sound and replicas of the original costumes.
The game inspired by the series Squid Game took place on 12 September 2025 at 20:00 in the Little World of Technology U6 after closing time. A group of up to 30 players aged 18 and over completed challenges in sportswear for about two hours. All tickets were sold out.
The fashion brand SA|KO Studio presented its new A/W25 NEW|CLASS collection on 12th September 2025 at the Tunnel in Dolní Vítkovice. The audiovisual show in the raw spaces next to FUTUREUM featured models from the Miss Czech Republic stable, including the winner Linda Gorecká, followed by an afterparty.

The World of Technology celebrated its birthday with a special programme on the weekend of 4th–5th October 2025. 3D films 3-2-1 START! and T-Rex were screened in the cinema, virtual reality was prepared, and there were science shows in both gas and fire versions, competitions, and a birthday raffle.

The exhibition Graphic of the Year 2024 and the 30th Vladimir Boudník Award was on display at the Gong Gallery from 23 October to 23 November 2025. It showcased a selection of contemporary graphic works by artists and students in all classical techniques, along with a presentation of the laureate of the Vladimir Boudník Award.
The creative workshop at the Great World of Technology gave a second chance to torn or stained clothing on 25th October 2025. Children and adults learned the basics of crocheting a bracelet and creative modifications using embroidery, iron-ons, or felt; the ticket was valid for one adult and one child.
The Halloween Lantern Parade set off on 30th October 2025 at 16:30 from the church at Mírové náměstí to Dolní Vítkovice. There, a programme with competitions and a disco awaited the children, and the entire autumn event concluded with a fireworks display. It was a popular family event that took place again after a year.

The Light Park Lights Tell transformed Dolní Vítkovice into a cosmic spectacle from 1 November to 30 December 2025. Among the blast furnaces and halls, light planets, rockets, astronauts, and flying saucers shone with half a million lights for families and adults.

The European Classical Ballet company presented Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake on 24 November 2025 at Gong, choreographed by Marius Petipa. The lead role was danced by Iana Salenko, prima ballerina of the Berlin State Ballet. The Milan company consists of dancers from many countries.
THE ŽENY SUMMIT took place on 28 November 2025 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. The event for women from the Moravian-Silesian Region featured stories from female entrepreneurs, well-known personalities, and speakers, along with their practical tips for advancement in careers, business, and personal life.
The creative workshop Crochet with Grandma at the Great World of Technology on 29 November 2025 taught parents and children the basics of crocheting. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, participants tried holding the yarn and hook, making their first stitches and basic patterns, and took home a hand-crocheted bracelet.
The PRIME Orchestra – Rock Sympho Show concert took place on 29 November 2025 in the multifunctional hall Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. The symphonic crossover orchestra, along with a rock band and vocalists, performed rock hits in a new sound, complemented by LED screens and special effects.

The expert conference 197 Years of Vítkovice took place on 4 December 2025 at the Gong auditorium. VÍTKOVICE, a.s. organised it in collaboration with the Archive of the City of Ostrava and dedicated it to the infrastructure, transport, and facilities of the Lower Vítkovice area and the 120 years of seamless steel bottle production from tubes.
The exhibition Shapes Hidden in Wood at the Gong Gallery presented for the first time the entire collection of Silesian painter and graphic artist Helena Salichová, which was created from the 1960s. It was on display from December 2025 to 15 March 2026 and concluded the Year of Helena Salichová in celebration of the 130th anniversary of her birth and the 50th anniversary of her death.
The concert Krhut & Kozub by the campfire took place on 4 December 2025 at Gong. Štěpán Kozub and Jiří Krhut, along with Barbara Kanyzová, sang songs like Prásknu bičem and Dám ti napít, sharing stories about their creation and inspiration. The evening offered songs, memories, and humour.

Songs from the film comedies of the First Republic and pieces from across the Atlantic were performed in an authentic interpretation of the swing of the 30s and 40s, complete with period costumes, hairstyles, and direction.
Finnish singer Tarja Turunen performed on 18 December 2025 at the multifunctional hall Gong with her new Christmas programme The Spirit of Christmas. The Advent concert offered her unique interpretation of Christmas songs in a stage show that transported the audience into a festive mood.

The project In Honour of David Stypka returned to Gong on 9 January 2026 as part of the G2 cycle, five years after Stypka's death. His songs were performed by the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the band Bandjeez featuring singers Ewa Farna, Kateřina Marie Tichá, and Mirai Navrátil.
Ostrava hosted the Czech Republic Cyclocross Championship for the first time on 10 January 2026, with the event taking place at the Dolní Vítkovice area. Juniors, junior women, women, and men competed, with an official training session held the day before and the men's race planned for broadcast on ČT SPORT.

Brunch & Music took place on Saturday, 14th February 2026, in the morning at FUTURE café. The menu featuring plant-based and vegan dishes was prepared by Maková Kachna, DJs B.O.B. and DIN JARRYN played downtempo and deep house, and the bar offered Mimosas, Pilsner, specialty coffee, and non-alcoholic lemonades.
The Workshop Shapes Hidden in Wood took place on 15 February 2026 from 11:00 to 12:30 at the Gong Gallery. Participants were inspired by the work of regional artist Helena Salichová, exploring the artistic potential of wood structures and experimenting with prints, experiments, and working with the material.

The exhibition "Private Edens – Allotment Gardeners as a Phenomenon" presented David Macháč's photographic project from March 19 to September 27, 2026, which has documented allotment colonies since 2006. RockOpera Prague, a musical theatre combining rock music with a sophisticated theatrical show, returned to the multifunctional hall Gong on 20 March 2026. It presented the rock opera Troy about the most famous war conflict in the world, which arose because of a beautiful woman.

The opening of the exhibition Godspeed, friends! took place on 25 March 2026 at 17:30 in the Gong Gallery with free admission. The exhibition commemorates mining in Northern Moravia through the works of Vilém Wünsche, Josef Liesler, and others, featuring photographs, chronicles, uniforms, and memories of mining families.
The exhibition Hail God, friends! at the Gong Gallery from 25 March to 7 June 2026 brought the history of mining in Northern Moravia closer. It showcased works by artists, photographs, chronicles, uniforms, and memories of mining families, as well as an outdoor replica of the last coal cart from the ČSM Mine in Stonava.

The Witch Parade 2026 was organised by the municipal district of Ostrava-Vítkovice on 30 April. The procession set off at 16:00 from Mírové náměstí in Vítkovice to Dolní Vítkovice, where a programme with a witchy atmosphere and the burning of witches awaited. Children in costumes received a free sausage.
The Open Day of VÍTKOVICE and CYLINDERS HOLDING took place on 1 May 2026. Visitors got a glimpse into the operations of VÍTKOVICE HAMMERING and the production of pressure vessels, toured the Vítkovice Castle, and enjoyed a programme featuring hydrogen cars, virtual reality, and games for children.
The Pojez fest in Dolní Vítkovice offered on Saturday, 9th May 2026 from 10:00 a gastro village with dozens of stalls and food trucks, a live cooking show with tastings, and concerts by Janek Ledecký and the band Adán Sánchez. Children's Day at Landek took place on 30th May 2026 at the Landek Park area in Ostrava-Petřkovice. Children walked along a trail featuring fairy tales, myths, and legends about Landek Hill, completing age-appropriate tasks at stations with fairy tale characters, and received a sweet treasure at the end.
SpaceBuzz in Dolní Vítkovice transformed the Great World of Technology and U6 into a space base on 30 May 2026. The SpaceBuzz simulator offered a virtual flight to Earth's orbit, an outdoor astronaut training zone with military technology, and lectures and cinema about space inside.
SQUIRT is a provocative erotic show that, according to the organisers, was a success in Las Vegas. It arrived at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice on June 6, 2026. The performance intertwined reality with fantasy, art with sensuality, offering the audience a refined provocation and a celebration of human self-expression.

The DJ JuVi 3 Hours Morning House Set took place on 15th August 2026 at Gong in Dolní Vítkovice. The PECKA DOV event combined DJ JuVi's house set with artisan pizza baked on-site, specialty coffee, and prosecco in an industrial setting, as an unconventional alternative to traditional parties.
The Folklore Without Borders Ostrava festival took place from 17th to 21st August 2026 in several districts of Ostrava, showcasing folklore traditions, dances, songs, and costumes from the Czech Republic and around the world. On the final day, 21st August, it also visited the Agricultural Museum in Dolní Vítkovice.
The outdoor sketching event at Bolt Tower took place on 22 August 2026 in Dolní Vítkovice. Participants sketched the industrial architecture, structures, and nooks of the area, concluding their walk with a trip up Bolt Tower for a view of the entire site. No prior drawing experience was necessary.

Albi Game Day Ostrava 2026 offered a weekend of board games for the whole family from 18th to 20th September 2026 at the Great World of Technology. The programme included a large gaming area with hundreds of games, Albi news with instructors, tournaments for prizes, crafting for children and adults, Magical Reading, and puzzles.
The Gluten-Free Fair and national meeting of coeliacs took place on Saturday, 19 September 2026 from 10:00 to 15:00 at the National Agricultural Museum Ostrava in Dolní Vítkovice. The meeting and fair were organised by the Coeliac Club for Ostrava and the Moravian-Silesian Region.
The Living Library of Professions at the Great World of Technology presented professions from robotics and programming to metallurgy and journalism on Monday, 21 September 2026, from 9:00 to 18:00, directly from the people who do them. VŠB-TUO and secondary schools from Ostrava also added their offerings.
The Night of Science on the theme of Communication took place on Friday, 25 September 2026 from 16:00 to 21:30 at the World of Technology. The free programme for children and adults offered an escape game about Professor Zmizík, chemistry, a science show, encryption with robots, crafting, and games for the little ones.
The creative workshops at the Great World of Technology on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at 14:00 focused on bookbinding. Teams made up of an adult and a child aged 9 and over, guided by instructors, went through the entire process of creating a book, from folding papers to decorating the covers, and took home their own diary.
The original Slovak dance-theatre show LOVE2DANCE was presented on 27 September 2026 in the multifunctional hall Gong. It drew the audience into the world of standard and Latin American dances in a modern, dynamic, and visually impressive performance.
